Other research topics:
glycobiology of host-pathogen interactions
Other organisms:
human host as receptor
Other methods/technologies:
structural biology - proteomics - glycomics
Suggestions for potential research cooperations:
We seek researchers interested in the identification and treatment of nontypeable Haemophilus influenza (NTHi) considering lectin-glycoconjugate recognition as the pinnacle of host-pathogen interactions. Such protein-carbohydrate interactions regulate specific recognition in bacterial adhesion to mucosal tissues and of immune cells.
