SeqNet.org and typing in daily infection control
SeqNet.org is an initiative of multiple laboratories from different countries. It aims at establishing a European network of excellence for sequence based typing of microbial pathogens by establishing unambiguous and electronic typing data, organizing the surveillance of sentinel micro-organisms, harmonizing sequencing methods, improving the general access to sequence based microbial typing results anddisseminating the results through a web-portal to scientists.
